Romans 6

It's been another full day and I have been afflicted with Holy Insomnia! I am choosing to go to bed now, but the word of the day is...If you aren't fascinated by Jesus you are open and vulnerable to attack.

Romans 6
Knowing - Who we are in Christ and see ourselves alive to God.
Resisting - sin, Satan and sin provoking situations
Pursuing - DOING + BEING
Pursuing God
Pursuing people
Pursuing truth

"You can't repent for you desire for pleasure because God is the creator of pleasure. You can repent for pursuing pleasure in the wrong way."

I will post more once I have studied this more.

Wow, I love that last line. You can't repent for desiring pleasure. So often I feel bad for wanting, and forget God Himself gave me my dreams.
Weird though, or maybe not so much, when I read the line:
pursuing - doing + being
I THOUGHT it meant:
pursuing - (MINUS) doing + being.
Then it made me think of
pursuing minus doing plus being = doing naturally.
p.s. when do I get to see you live and in person?

Very precise.
In other words, our choice is expressed only in how we execute our desires, whether for others or for our benefit.

It is not really about ours or others benefit, it is about God. I can benefit others in my choices, but that doesn't mean that I have honoured God at all. We have been designed for the pleasure and worship of our creator. So my prayer for my life is LORD let me find pleasure in you. When I find pleasure in Him, I am able to live with more life and more good results in my life because my motivation comes from a place of knowing I am loved and please the heart of Yahweh.

Who is God?
Who is God to you?

If we know that God Almighty created me, you, and everything we see around us.
If so, God is all I see and feel around me.
And if we know that God loves us, it means that everything that he created around us, he made with love and for our enjoyment.

If so, the question is: why we do not like, what the Creator created us with love?

And the answer?
Since we judge what the Creator created, and decide what is right and wrong with our selfish eyes.

The Creator created us trees.
Do we use them the way God intended?

The Creator created us steel.
Do we use it the way God intended?

The Creator created us more people to not be alone, take care of each other.
Can we connect them?
Do we keep them from harm?
Do we try to give them the tools to not go wrong way?

Or whether all our actions are intended solely to us and only us feel good?

Love the Creator, to worship the Creator, is to take care of all that He created us with love.
He does not have that we built palaces for him, he just wants us to take care of creatures on earth.

Forgive the English, because I do not speak the language, I use Google's translator.
